My Mom passed away in 2004 and this diamond was hers.  I am so happy to wear it and have her with me every day.  I choose the setting to compliment the diamond.  I think Matt was disappointed that he couldn't surprise me with a ring he picked out, but this ring means so much to me.

I love the way these two rings fit together.  They did not come as a set and are made by different designers.  I had to put this ring in a box at the bank so I wouldn't wear it every day.  The enagement ring has been cleaned and polished since this photo was taken!




Matt finally found his ring!  He had looked online and found some styles he liked, but was nervous about ordering without seeing it first.  We set a day aside for his ring shopping... he HATES shopping of any kind and was getting frustrated and worn out.  I encouraged him to go to one more store close to our home because we still had time and I wanted to get this done.  The store was amazing and Lynette was so friendly.  They carried a designer that sends a store samples of his rings, then you call and request the metal you want it made from.  This really helps on the cost.  We are still deciding between white gold & Palladium.
